What to plant?

My suggestion is to use the following plants to start with, because they are easy to plant and to take care of:

  1. Leafy vegetables : lettuce, spinach, cabbage, broccoli
  2. Root crops: radishes, carrots, celery, onions
  3. Peas and beans :  tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, pole beans

If you follow my plan for the first year vegetables you will not have any problems in knowing where and what you planted. In the following years, either you create a plan of your own based on smaller beds like I did for you now, or you remember to put a small piece of paper (or a different reminder) close to each type of vegetable. You need to do this to know what plants need water and when.

Backyard Liberty Tips & Guide – Backyard Liberty introduces a fresh concept called Aquaponics (really the concept is new to mainstream media however there are tens of thousands of people already using this concept since it’s so simple to use along with the return of investment is huge). An aquaponic system is actually a perfect fit for an indoor garden or for small spaces.
